Hershey

2005 - 2017

Hershey was a handsome Chocolate Labrador Retriever. He came from Virginia and had a white ring on his tail that soon faded. Hershey was a willful puppy who loved to steal socks and eat raw meat. He was a championship swimmer and once swam the length of Jamaica Pond. He often gave me much grief when he would not come out of the water until once when I finally sat down and cried!!! He loved to swim after rocks, chew bones and of course chase balls. Squeaky toys were his favorite and when he was little I had to always have $10 in my pocket to pay any owner whose ball he would not give back!!
Hershey was my first pet and the love of my life. I am truly heartbroken over his death. He lived a wonderful life and taught me to love like I never thought I would. Thank you, Hershey. I LOVE YOU!!!
