Halo Williamson

1992 - 2019

With heavy hearts, our Halo (mini horse) went over the Rainbow Bridge last evening after an obstruction episode that could not be cleared after a few days despite the veterinary efforts.

My husband and I were struggling with naming him when he first came into our lives. We had just finished several charitable / fundraising efforts in Newtown, Connecticut in memory of the beautiful 26 angels lost to gun violence at Sandy Hook. Our minds so fresh from that immense tragedy, we noticed our little guy had a white patch under his mane which was always in the way of his beautiful face. It clicked to us that it was a "Halo" ....certainly a gentle little one, who was a genuine fighter.

We envision Halo now running and playing with the children of Sandy Hook. :)
