We are so grateful for all of the time we had together, but we still think you left too soon. This heartbreak is one of the worst we've ever experienced.
You were our adventure buddy, our co-pilot through countless miles of open road as we traveled this country together in our RV. You were there for every new horizon, every rest stop, every place we called home for a night. And when our family was growing, you never left my side — a gentle, steady presence through every moment of my pregnancy, as if you somehow knew.
We wish you were still here. We wish we could hear you snoring. We wish we could smush your face and give you all of the kisses.
We miss you so much, Max.
Soulmate love transcends death — it's everlasting. I will carry you with me for the rest of my days on this earth, and then beyond.
