Rooney, my furry best friend — the best dog ever.
For 13 ½ wonderful years, Rooney was by my side for every adventure, every quiet moment, and everything in between. He wagged his tail with his heart until he couldn't wag it anymore.
We kayaked, hiked, snowshoed, played frisbee, He "helped me" rake leaves and he always greeted me at the back door with the happiest hello. He loved deeply — his Nana and Papa, his little brother Nero, his first friends Daisy & Duke, and his many furry friends - Shep, Tess, Moses, Maggie, Ryder, Riggins, Myles, Pandora, Charley, Angel, Comet, Brady, Harley and so many more furry friends. He was loved by my family & all my friends
He was so much more than a pet. He was my companion, my snuggle bug, my greatest listener, and my heart.
I know we’ll meet again someday, but until then, I’ll carry his love with me always. My heart aches, but I’m endlessly grateful for the joy, laughter, and love we shared.
Rooney, you changed my life. Thank you for every moment. I will miss you beyond words. 💔🐶
