Create a meaningful legacy that gives back to the planet for
generations to come.
Pet Reefs are an ecological way to respectfully honor your precious pets. Their living legacy begins with the addition of their cremated remains within a Memorial Reef, which is then placed in our Florida or New Jersey undersea memorial gardens dedicated specifically for pets.
The surface of the memorial is textured to allow adhesion of coral polyps, while its hollow center shelters fish and other marine animals. Pet Reefs help to restore our oceans’ reef ecosystems. Engineered to last for centuries, your pet’s reef will provide significant marine life and coral growth for generations to come.
A final resting place in the ocean for your beloved pet
Pet Reefs transform cremated remains into an eco-friendly underwater memorial. These reefs are placed in special underwater gardens, restoring marine habitats, supporting coral growth, and helping ocean ecosystems.

Send your pet's cremated remains to Memorial Reefs International. We will build them into a Memorial Reef that lasts over 500 years.
Dedication
Your pet’s Memorial Reef is then taken by boat and placed in the undersea memorial garden of your choice (Florida or New Jersey). Afterwards, you will receive GPS coordinates and photos confirming the placement of your pet's memorial.
MEMORIAL REEFS
a final resting place in the ocean for your beloved pet
Final Gift has partnered with Pet Reefs to provide you with a unique memorial option
Once Pet Reefs has placed your pet’s Memorial in their undersea garden, fish move in immediately and it becomes a home for abundant marine life for generations to come. You can visit by boat any time you wish.
Transformation
*Communally cremated pet remains are built into memorials and placed in reefs with the greatest need at several more locations. Because there is no way to track mixed remains received in bulk, we cannot provide the location of final resting place nor GPS coordinates for any communally cremated pet.
