Emmeline

Our son, kevin, found Emmeline on dixiepetunderground.org. She was described as "Sweet, sweet Emmeline! There is so much to say about her. She is one of the best dogs we have ever known, but she came to us in the worst shape of any dog we have ever taken into our rescue. emmeline weighed just more than 40 pounds when she came to us in June. Today, healthy, strong and beautiful, Emmeline is nearly 70 pounds. We don't know what happened that caused emmeline to become so emaciated. we took her from a high-kill shelter where she came in as a stray. What we learned after her arrival was that there was no physical cause for her condition and that she had an appetite that would not stop! Emmeline is a good, good girl. She loves everyone! She is gentle with the tiniest kitten, but also enjoys some roughhousing with dogs who like to play. While she loves other dogs, she loves to spend time with humans. She is very attentive to humans and listens to what you are saying. She is well-behaved in her crate and is house-trained. We are estimating that Emmeline is about 2 years old and have put her birthday at 01-01-2012. Emmeline is spayed, fully vaccinated, on heart worm prevention and ready to come home! She is now a healthy, strong, beautiful dog and she's ready to find her perfect place in the world. ..." Every word of her description we found to be absolutely the truth. She was perfection to the max.
