How do I even begin to put into words what Glory meant to me? She came into my life at one of the hardest times in my life. She got me through it. She connected me to my best friend in the entire world. She helped me discover I was carrying my second child. My constant for 4,996 days. The pain I feel is unlike anything I’ve felt before.

Glory Guacamole came into our lives on July 21, 2012, and has been doing things her way since the start. She never hesitated to tell us exactly what she wanted and when. Waiting was not her strong suit. When she was hungry and we took too long, she’d go in and flip her bowl till we got up. She would steal your spot without even giving it a second thought. She was the queen of our house—she ran the show. She was an old lady, but she kept Huxley in his place.

I honestly have no idea how I am going to live my life without her. I loved her more than most people. My heart hurts in a way it’s never hurt before. I love you so much, Glory Guacamole. You were my best friend, my confidant, and the one who judged me the hardest. My life will never be the same. Thank you for everything, babe. I’ll miss you.
