Woodlands Half Moon Hudson, our beloved Labrarador, was born on October 17, 2007 while my husband and I were on our honeymoon. Two weeks later, we chose him from a precious litter of eight (out of Woodlands Daisy and Tucker.) Five weeks later, at seven weeks and seven pounds, we brought him home. Hudson passed away peacefully, with his favorite vet, and us by his side, on July 24, 2023 at 10:39 a.m. from kidney complications due to old age. He was 15 years and 9 months old. He was as handsome and kind as the day we first brought him home.
Sweet tempered, independent, curious, and never-endingly affectionate, Hudson’s favorite moments were when his pack (Hudson, my husband, and I) gathered on the couch to watch T.V. where he would receive endless rubs and occasional treats.
Hudson was the love of our lives and the heart of our family. We miss him terribly, and know he will forever be a part of us.
There are no words to adequately describe the love we have for him and the profound loss we feel. We wish him a swift rise to heaven and hope to one day see him when it’s our time to depart this earth. We love and miss you sweet, sweet boy.
