Jackie

2009 - 2024

Jackie (14 1/2 years old) passed away at home on January 9th, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Jackie found her family in the fall of 2009 when she walked right up their front steps. She lived with her grandpas, John and Bob, for a few months until moving in with her parents, Mike and Jeanna, in January 2010.

Jackie is predeceased by her canine sister, Sassy, and her canine cousins, Henry and McCoy. Besides her parents, she leaves behind her Uncle Scotty who took care of her anytime she needed, and her friends, Dave and Kenny.

Jackie was more than just a cat. In fact, she may have been part dog since she loved exploring outside on her leash and playing fetch. Some of her favorite activities were sitting outside with Jeanna watching the birds or sitting on Mike’s lap watching YouTube videos.

Jackie was one of a kind and she will be missed dearly. Special thanks to Dr. Julie Ross and Dr. Block for taking such good care of Jackie. Mike and Jeanna plan to honor her memory with the volunteer work they do at Habitat for Cats sanctuary.
