Marmalade

2009 - 2019

Marmalade passed away suddenly on May 31, 2019, when he was only 10. He was such a happy, loving little boy who trilled and gave kisses and face rubs. He was both snuggly and a daredevil, a climber and an absolute sweetheart. Years ago I used to comment on his extra-special personality that he “saw the world through Marmalade-colored glasses,” and I think it’s something we can learn from him: always take every chance you get to run outside and play, always say yes to extra treats, always make your voice heard, and always, always unabashedly show the people you love how much you care for them.
