Parker
2015 - 2025
Parker, my puppy, I remember when I first brought you home at 17. I drove 10 hours to bring you home and that's when our journey began. The memories we share is something that I will cherish deeply, even though right now it hurts to remember. Thank you so much for the 9 years you spent with me. I will keep you close to my heart.
I love you Parker, we will see each other again I promise.
so this is where we part, my friend,
and you'll run on, around the bend, gone from sight, but not from mind, new pleasures there you'll surely find.
i will go on, i'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.
one long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before i grieve.
there are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.
and i, fair, impartial, or so i thought,
will remember well all you've taught.
your place i'll hold, you will be missed,
the fur i stroked, the nose i kissed.
and as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this...i loved you best.
he took my heart and ran with it, and he's running still, fast and strong, a piece of my heart bound up with his, forever
you will always be my best boy Parker.
