In Loving Memory of Pepper

Pepper was our whole world. She wasn’t just our dog, she was our shadow, our soft place to land, our constant companion through every twist and turn of life. She loved us with every ounce of her little beagle mix heart, and we loved her just as deeply, with a love that knows no end.

She had a way of making every day brighter. Her joyful tail wags could light up the darkest room, and her sweet, expressive eyes seemed to say everything we ever needed to hear: I love you, I’m here, we’re together. She followed us everywhere (even when we thought we might get just one moment alone in the bathroom!), because all she wanted was to be close to us. and truthfully, we always wanted to be close to her too.

Pepper had her quirks, and we adored every single one. She was the queen of cozy spots, the champion of snack detection, and a professional at sneaking into our hearts a little deeper every single day. She made us laugh, even in the hardest times, and she made us better simply by being who she was.

Losing her feels unbearable, like a part of our souls is missing. But we believe with everything in us that she is still close. in the quiet moments when we swear, we feel her beside us, in cozy corners of our room where she loved to nap, and in every loving thought we carry forward in her name.

Pepper, we miss you more than words can say. Thank you for every moment of unconditional love and joy you gave us. We will carry you with us always, until the day we are together again. You’ll always be our little girl, the sweetest baby.
