Pete

2022 - 2024

Pete was adopted as a a young pup into the Coleman family from the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. Having recently lost their guinea pig Wilson to health complications in old age, Josh and Anna were missing his feisty spirit in their home. As soon as they met Pete and he rested his chin on Anna’s shoulder, they knew he had a special place in their family.
Pete previously had a guinea pig sister, Winnifred (2021-2024), and dog sister Midge (2008-2024). He is survived by his older guinea pig sister Mimi, and dog brother Samson. He got along with all creatures, big and small.
Pete was known for his goofy, extroverted spirit. He would eagerly come out from his retreat to greet humans, often to beg loudly for snacks. He loved having conversations with his sister Mimi in the neighboring cage - likely flirting with her. He enjoyed having his chin rubbed and sitting on his dad’s shoulder.
Pete passed away from an unknown medical episode following a dental grind procedure.
Pete will be remembered for his bold spirit, genuine love for people, and always advocating for treats. He will be deeply missed.
