My Best Friend

You came into my world and your blue eyes melted my heart. You were my best friend when no one else would be. Your ears listened to my secrets and your soft fur caught my tears. You never judged me. It was a comfort to hear you padding through the house like a little tap dancer, you would then come up onto the bed and sleep on my face. It made me laugh when you would get out of bed early in the morning and bat your toys around. You were 17 but you still had so much life in you. I hope that you have found peace, lots of cat nip,and a release from you pain. I love you so much and miss you dearly.
