Ralphy Felix
2016 - 2025
Ralphy Felix Lanzaro
(2016 – Forever in Our Hearts)
Born May 2016 on the beautiful beaches of the Virgin Islands, Ralphy—originally named Tamarind, because apparently, he was spicy and tropical—came into the world already too cool for a kennel. Ralphy plotted mischief before breakfast and perfected the art of the Side-Eye by age six months.
Ralphy was adopted (or, let’s be honest, adopted us) in November 2016. He came in full of attitude, strong opinions, and a nose for trouble. From day one, he made it clear who was in charge (hint: it was not the humans). He liked long walks around the neighborhood, medium walks in the woods, and very short walks when the weather was “rude.” His true loves? Salmon and rotisserie chicken.
He was part pit bull, part lab, and part gremlin after 9 PM. Hardheaded like a toddler on sugar, but with a heart big enough to wrap around the whole family—twice. Loyal to a fault, mischievous to the core, and always down to steal your spot on the couch—or hog the whole bed like he paid rent.
Ralphy was more than a dog. He was a therapist with fur, a professional napper, a life coach with muddy paws. He rescued me more than I ever rescued him.
Ralphy leaves behind his devoted human mom, Patricia, and his two human brothers, Vincent and Theodore—his favorite partners in crime and cuddle buddies. He also leaves behind a trail of slobber, a mountain of fur, and a legacy of love.
Swim on, sweet Ralphy. May the lakes in dog heaven be endless, the walks frequent, and the salmon perfectly grilled.
Rest easy, buddy. You were the goodest of boys.
