Our Sweetest Sadie

Sadie,

You are the best dog and first "child" we could have ever asked for. You were sweet, smart, and always so happy. Even in your last year when you were fighting cancer, you always had a smile on your face and a wag in your tail. You loved bones, sticks, and car rides. Even though I think you sometimes resented us getting you a little sister (like when she'd chew your ears, steal your toy, or try to lay on you), I still think you semi-secretly loved Paisley. In the past few weeks, you were getting more and more tired, but you still tried to be such a good, strong girl for us. Today, we had to let you go to heaven, where you'll be running, swimming, and chewing sticks until we meet again. We will love and miss you until forever.
