My first, most loyal friend

Although it's been some time since you've been gone. I miss you still and you come to me in my dreams. You were the smartest dog I have ever known. So loyal, and so loving. I miss your velvety ears and wrapping my arms around you for hugs. I remember being a small child, going to pick you out from the other dogs. I wanted you because you "felt soft like a little sheep" I can still feel that if I think about you. My beautiful love, I hope you're resting easy now that you're not alone. The last of the crew is gone :( I'm so happy I got to spend your last moments alone with you in the kitchen. I still visit you at mom's house. I love you shelby girl.
