Our Flying Girl

SKYE (Ale Kai Skye's the Limit) was truly a bird in a poodle body -- she magically "flew" through the air as light as a feather - a one-of-a-kind combination of beauty, grace, strength, and athleticism sporting her signature hair bow. She was our only girl among our three boys -- but they could never catch her.... she was a perfect combination of sweetness and spunk. Beautiful, courageous, confident, & loving. She was happiest at the beach or by the river, lake, or ocean chasing sticks or tennis balls We remember her bringing in a piece of driftwood larger that herself! She loved her brothers Becket, Luca, Knox and her cousin Bhodi and friends Zorro& Zobie. She is deeply missed by our entire family - Sandy, Rob, Jenn & Ali, and all her friends. We know she is at peace now and her spirit plays in the waves in heaven. We will miss you and love you always.

Farewell, friend! by Edwin Arnold 1832-1904

Farewell, friend! Yet not farewell;
Where I am, ye, too, shall dwell.
I am gone before your ace,
A moment's time, a little space.
When ye come where I have stepped
Ye will wonder why ye wept;
Ye will know, by wise love taught,
That here is all, and there is naught.
