2011 - 2024

On December 26, we said goodbye to our sweet Toby, a dog who brightened every corner of our lives for over a decade. He came into our world at three years old, adopted from the amazing team at @animalprotectioncenter in Brockton. They affectionately described him as a “doofus,” but for us, it was love at first sight. Toby’s goofy charm, boundless love, and that signature toothy smile instantly won us over—and from that moment on, he became our everything.
For ten wonderful years, the incredible team at @jmpetresort treated Toby like the king he truly was. At daycare and during boarding, they became more than just caregivers; they were his second family. Their love and dedication ensured every day was an adventure for Toby, filled with belly rubs, snuggles, and endless smiles.
Toby had a special gift for finding sunshine wherever he went—whether it was streaming through a window or shining on a grassy patch outside. He’d plop down in those golden rays and take the most blissful naps, as if he were soaking up happiness itself. That simple joy was so uniquely Toby, and it taught us all to appreciate life’s little pleasures.
Our gratitude extends to the compassionate team at East Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital, who not only gave Toby a long, healthy, and joyful life but also provided him with a peaceful and dignified goodbye when the time came. Their care and kindness were a gift beyond measure.
Toby’s enormous heart and even bigger grin had the power to light up any room. He spread joy to everyone who crossed his path, leaving behind memories that will warm our hearts forever. While our hearts ache at his absence, we know he’s up there somewhere, stretched out in a sunny spot, flashing that toothy smile and wagging his tail as he watches over us.
To everyone who touched Toby’s life with kindness and love, from APCSM to JM Pet Resort and EB Veterinary Hospital, along with our family and friends, we are forever grateful. You gave Toby the happiest life, and in return, he gave us a love that will last forever.
Rest easy, sweet Toby, Toblerone, Tobias Smails, Budder-Dish. Until we meet again, keep finding the sunshine and smiling down on us. You’ll always be our “doofus,” our king, and our best friend. 🖤🐾🌈 #pentola
